without spending crazy adobe dollars what are good options for working with photos for a forum?
When I use iphone for pix i can't control the image size. I have found this program that easily converts to lower file size but it also has a batch feature that works great. I just grab all my images off the phone to a folder then batch the folder files all at once creating a new folder with reduced size images

you want your files sie to be around 100kb. this program has a quick option 800 x 600 works great
The process I follow
open image (IrFan)View)
menu--- Image-resize/resample, window opens, select 640 x 480 (whatever), then hit ok
menu--- select 3rd icon in (file icon)
input file name, press enter
Now the file size is reasonable (38.1 KB)
Change windows file association so when you select an image the Irfan app loads and not win photo viewer
Right-click the Start button (or hit the WIN+X hotkey) and choose Settings. Select Apps from the list. Choose Default apps on the left. click the app for photo viewer then select Irfan
