Yes my fellow dodge ram owners we have another dodge engineering repair to complete.
my Ram is 1995 12 valve. During my quest to determine my wire #9 short i was enlightened to another electrical issue. Strange how everything breakes at the same time. Turns out the switch has design issues and the wires get hot. Hot enough to burn the plastic reseptical holding the wires in their proper location, Yes you have to replace both the switch and wire harness
