Basic tools, wire stripper and end crimper. The end crimper is a slow process to begin with but once you do it a few times it just becomes a process, a slow one at that. The finished crimp has to hold the bare wire, there is a measurement for cutting back the shielding, it is actually a 2 crimp outcome, the shielding gets crimped to the outboard clamps and the bare wire to the inboard. If you understand this your final connections should be good. I actually apply solder to the stripped wire before crimping. It's an extra step but it helps me see the wire count is all there, no strands sticking out. The final end build requires the end tab be extended if it's pushed down, and this needs to be inserted in the slot so the locking tab engages
This requires a couple tools , but most important it require some practice
