Ender 5 Printing Experience
Overview
Experience with printing a mount using the Ender 5 3D printer with Cura software.
Problem
Failed attempts to print a mount using default settings for supports resulted in unusable parts. After two failed attempts, the third print using default settings for supports was successful.
Solution
Using default settings for supports in Cura led to a usable part. This allowed for the continuation of adding BL-Touch bed leveling to a longer LK1.
Problem
Bed leveling issues and poor quality parts. The printer was unable to produce good parts, suspected to be due to filament issues.
Solution
1. Followed bed leveling instructions. 2. Changed the print head. 3. Suspected filament as the main issue.
Notes
- A 4-hour print run resulted in a good part.
- Filament quality significantly impacted print quality.
