Winterizing Process

Problem

- Rubber hoses decomposed.
- Fuel shutoff broke off.

Solution

- Replaced the fuel shutoff from Amazon for $7, which included a hose and filter (from China).
- Changed the oil to synthetic.
- Unit has about 12 hours of runtime.

Key Points

- Most important step is to get the fuel system dry.
- Removed the carb fuel bowl drain screw.
- Applied WD-40 into the carb to keep it lubed (potentially a bad idea, to be evaluated next year).
